Just wondering before I may purchase, but how does the checkout process work? Say a customer has 4-5 images in their cart. When they go to checkout, it'll go to PayPal's site, then they pay.

Then what happens? How are they able to receive the full resolution images that we'd be selling?

I couldn't do this in the demo, can someone explain?

after the customer has paid by paypal you will receive an email with the order, the customer email, and customer address.

then you can send the pictures by mail or from a download link, if you sell downloadable goods. Or you can start a shipping.

I'm working on a direct download module but you have to consider that not all people sell downloadable goods.

can I add more information in my receiving Email?

For Example:

Customer want to buy Picture "2.jpg" from gallerie "wedding of xy" - how can I have this informations in my email?

The problem is - I can not give every single picture a different name to know later which picture the customer bought...

simplest way is:

when you create a gallery for "wedding of xx"

set all caption to :

wedding of xx - 1

wedding of xx - 2

wedding of xx - 3

and so on

then in your paypal order you will find all the pictures purchased

the store uses caption to identify the pictures

But can I not get infos about folder etc. in paypal.php?

paypal checkout is driven by cart_box.as and not from paypal.php

so is more difficult to make changes

by the way you can follow this step to work quickly with captions:

- after you create a new gallery and setup it (pass, cart ...) from admin panel, you will get the component/your_new_gallery_name folder on your server

- every categories is driven by an xml file

- download this xml and fill the captions manually with copy and paste. in 2 minutes you will do a full album
