It's probably a server side issue, that when I make changes in the control panel, they don't take effect until many hours later. It makes it hard to be working on developing the site, and I can't see what that changes look like on a regular basis. What do I need to do so that it updates more consistantly and rapidly?

I'm not the creator of the site but I have the issue sometimes too. Here's what I do to resolve it.

If you are using Firefox that is a known issue.
Be sure to refresh the history/cache.

Try testing it within another browser as well.
I use Safari, since I'm on a Mac.

Refresh the Admin control panel and it will work as well.
