Compliments to a very well designed template.

I've just purchased your template and uploaded it to my test server to check it out.

Now for the permission, you said "Be sure to set your folders and files writable (755) or (777 is some case) " -

Did you mean to set ALL files and folders to 755/777?

If yes, wouldn't it be dangerous having our folder being writable.

If no, may I know which file and folder I need to set permission 755 and which files need to set permission 777?

Also as I'm a web designer and my client does not know his website is from a template, what are the steps I need to take to ensure that once the website is installed my client won't be able to track it back to your website or know it's a template.

Okay after installing it on my server, I tried accessing admin but it gave me "500 Internal Server Error"

I've set 777 to all files and folders on the entire bin folder.

Fixed, reseting back admin folder to 755. It'll be nice to know which folder to set permission too.

I'm sorry some server works with all 755 and other with 777

so follow this simple rules

set all to 755 and try to customize

if it works you are ok

otherwise set all files and folder to 777 except admin/index.php and admin/indexlog.php

Sorry I need some clarification here.

So when you say "ALL", do you mean the entire bin folder and files and folders inside it? Like I'm using filezilla, I click and set permission 777 (recurse into subdirectories + apply to all files and directories)

Also repeating my question above, as my client does not know his website is a template - What are the steps and list of things I need to change so he won't know about it?

well , change the title and other metatag from index.html

and if you give to your customer the admin panel , delete from admin/leftmenu.php msdesign and the link to help and support forum
